Welcome to my website. I am a Post Doctoral Associate in Economics at New York University Abu Dhabi . I hold a PhD in Economics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Barcelona School of Economics
My research interests are in Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, Growth and Development, Inequality, Health, Family Economics,and Policy Evaluation.
I am in the 2025/2026 Job Market.
In my Job Market Paper, I present the first model that quantitatively examines how differencial learning about HIV transmission channels influences the trajectory of the HIV epidemic over time across educational groups in SSA. I find that 5-year earlier learning reduces new AIDS deaths by almost 45%, and a 10-year earlier learning results in a 60% drop in deaths, significantly mitigating the negative effects of the epidemic.
